When you find a book that you are interested in, click on it to get more details.  This will take you to the Amazon web site where you will be able to check the price and availability.  If you decide that you want to order the book, click on the "add to shopping basket" button.

Once you have chosen all the books that you wish to buy, click on the shopping basket icon at the top of any of the pop-up detail screens.  Check the contents of your basket, then click on the "proceed to checkout" button.  That's all there is to it.

The books will usually be with you within a few days.  There is a small postage charge, so you may want to buy several books at once, perhaps between a few colleagues, as this will work out to be even better value.

Customer comment:

Well done John Smiley, this is an excellent book written by someone who knows how to dispense with the jargon and talk to you in terms you can understand. Working with this book puts you right in John's classroom as you develop a working VB system along with other students. The text is very informative and the tone of the book is perfect ...... Well Done

Customer comment:

I found connells book to be a fantastic road map from the start of the journey (designing a normalized DB), to designing a 'bullet proof' interface, through accessing data via ADO through outputting data via HTML or even Office Automation sending data to EXCEL! Fantastic breath of information. Oh, and along the way he covered building Active Server Pages and Active Data Objects. If these terms are new and unfamiliar to you - BUY THIS BOOK!! I highly recommend it.

Customer comment:

I can't say enough about this book. I am a beginner and I have learned so much from both the book and the author. Mike has done a wonderful job presenting the information. This book benefits both the beginner and the expert. I just could not put it down after a few chapters I had to continue on and keep learning. The book is designed in parts so that if you are already familiar with a particular area you can move through without waisting time. The companion disk provides all you need to jump right in and start writing your first application. Thanks Mike for a job well done. Many will reap the benefits from a true professional.

Customer comment:

I found this book really really helpful while coding or planning an approach. It is not a text book which will teach you chapters one by one, instead it directly attacks at the problem and makes life easier during the development life cycle. I highly recommend this book for people who are involved in designing or developing of an VB application as reference.
